Thanh Ha’s 14-year charm had been broken

Thanh Ha and her boyfriend canceled their wedding twice before breaking up after 14 years, owing to differences in their professional perspectives.

On February 12, the singer confirmed that Thanh Ha had said goodbye to her fiance, Roland Casiquin Jrsau, causing many colleagues and the audience to be sad. Thanh Ha stated that they both maintain a working relationship. In November 2021, the singer’s boyfriend also shared information about the singer’s music program with nhạc của ca sĩ với nhóm Ba Con Mèo, which was performed in the United States.

Thanh Ha wrote on her personal page: “Both now regard each other as colleagues. I appreciate all of the attention and love you’ve received from colleagues, friends, family, and audiences all over the world.”

During their 14-year relationship, the two had many ups and downs. Roland was fired from his job after only a month of dating, leaving him in dire financial straits. Thanh Ha advised her boyfriend to apply for unemployment benefits to cover the costs. However, the singer stipulated that if Roland couldn’t find work after a year, the two would call it quits. Thanh Ha was still raising a young daughter at the time.

They attempted to marry on several occasions but were unsuccessful. The couple intends to marry in Da Nang, the singer’s hometown, in 2018. However, the wedding was postponed due to the boyfriend’s mother’s poor health. The wedding was rescheduled to take place in Saigon after that, but it never happened. Many close colleagues in Thanh Ha’s showbiz, such as Dam Vinh Hung and Ho Ngoc Ha, worriedly texted and inquired at the time.

Thanh Ha proposed to her boyfriend on her own initiative in early 2019. “I’m aware that everyone is concerned about me, so this proposal is also my way of assuring my loved ones that we are still happy and that there is no breakup.
